Scott Hanson

Senior Vice President, Sales, Hardlines and Lumber Group

Scott joined Activant in June 1978 as a sales representative in the Automotive Group. In 1998, Scott became vice president of Sales and held that role until becoming vice president of Marketing in 2001. He held various management positions from 2001 to 2007, including vice president and general manager of the Hardware and Home Center Group. Scott was promoted to senior vice president for the Hardlines and Lumber Group in October 2007, and in March 2008 he assumed the responsibilities of senior vice president of sales.

Scott attended the University of Minnesota where he majored in psychology.
